Pictionary

I would like to begin by saying that I never thought I could take away so much from something so simple like a quick game of Pictionary. When it was announced at the beginning of class that we would be playing the game at the end of class I quickly thought to myself about how easy it was going to be, and maybe even a waste of time. When the time came to play we all split into two teams. As we began to play I found out that the game was a little bit harder than I thought it was going to be. Not only was it hard but the words we had to draw were also hard. Words like pride and frozen, things that we think about and know the words well but if we think a little harder how do you draw these things. It was hard to guess on words describing emotions. My team was able to get some of the words because while drawing someone would draw key pictures that would help the brain connect the two together. I learned a lot about the thought process of how we look at things.  An artist has a propose to his creation. Some artist lay it out for you and then some hide it deep within. Something we must do is always keep our eyes open!

What inspires you to create: Ever since I was a kid I’ve always had a crazy Imagination so just about anything can inspire me.
What you hope to learn from this class: just the basics of design. Even if you think you know a lot there is always more to learn
What you think the most challenging part of this class will be: probably working in a group on group projects. I’ve never had to work with others on art projects. I’m excited to see how everything works out.

This is my beautiful wife Whitney and my brother Ivan who always inspire me!
